Avengers: Endgame On Course to Make $1.1 Billion

Image result for avengers endgameDisney's Avengers: Endgame is predicted to hit $1.1 billion in revenue. It is even said that the movie will near break even on Sunday, which is unheard of for a major studio tent pole during its opening week. It is also predicted that the worldwide income will bring it to $2 billion closer to $2.5 billion. So far only four films have cleared the $2 billion mark, which are Avatar, Titanic, Star Wars: Force Awakens, and Avengers: Infinity War.

The 3 hour and 2 minute long movie is said to have made $158 million on the first day as of its early release. By day 3, it will have made a total of $348 million. This profit expected from Avengers: Endgame is to be $600-$650 million, however Star Wars: Force Awakens walked away with $780.1 million in profit. Avengers: Endgame has also been ranked 1st in Fandango's biggest pre-sale films.

This amount of money is crazy and all, but I don't think Disney could just end a series like this. It may seem like this is the real end of Avengers, but I think they will continue to make movies. Especially the fans are all unable to process that this is the end to Avengers. From the beginning of 2012's original The Avengers, fans have kept coming back, watching each new Avengers movie and here Disney is just ending all of it. It has just sort of become a tradition for everyone who watches the Avengers series now.

I think this is kind of sad, not just this being the last Avengers movie, but also the movie itself, which is a must to watch. I am in awe of how much excitement a movie can bring because everyone is just talking about Endgame now.

  1. I agree that people around us can hugely effect on how we view the world. In my case, I haven't been able to watch Endgame, and everyone talking about it at school makes me want to watch it even more. Sadly, It was spoiled for me on Tuesday, which was a little frustrating. That could possibly be the reason why Disney made so much money on the opening weekend. People wanted to avoid spoilers when they came back to school on Monday. Also, I think they will reboot the Avengers, because it would be a marketing loss for Disney if they didn't.
