Advertising in Media

Advertisements are everywhere in media and surrounds our life. Everywhere we go there is an advertisement. On the side of buses, before a movie starts, on public benches, etc,. Companies use advertisements to create either a positive or negative correlation with something, so that we will either buy something or do something.

Companies use certain words in advertisements to paint a positive or negative picture in their audience's heads. They do this to grab your attention and have you buy things you never needed or have you do things you never thought about. Just walking down the street you see hundreds and hundreds of advertisements trying to grab your attention and have you spend your money.

Places like New York are filled with advertisements, and you cannot go somewhere that does not have advertisements. Like waiting in the subway, there are advertisements, or walking in the city, there are giant screens filled with advertisements. Companies spend millions of dollars to try and get people to buy their products. We even see advertising in social media. Companies paying social media companies to put their advertisements on their apps. You can't eve watch a YouTube video without seeing an advertisement.

Things like Spotify have advertisements every few songs you play so that you will buy their premium account so you can get rid of advertisements or you have to keep listening to the advertisements and the companies' who advertise get money each time that you hear one. Advertisements take control of our lives and they fill so much space in our cities. There is a problem with too many advertisements because they soon become to stack in front of each other and take up too much space.
